The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is the UK's quality standard for small-scale renewable energy installations. MCS certification is required for your installation to qualify for the Smart Export Guarantee — meaning you could earn money by selling excess power back to the grid.
We verify every installer's MCS number before they can receive leads. If their certification lapses, they're automatically suspended from our platform.
